People on twitter genuinely don’t care if it’s fake or not they are just happy to see the # on trending.
It’s so sad and frustrating to me, because I haven’t seen any valid explanation for hating Dream so much. Not liking someone or their content is ok, we all enjoy different things, but to participate and enjoy someone getting hate and “canceled” every week for things he didn’t do, didn’t have control over or already address, is so sad.
It obviously that most of the people participating in # don’t care about the weight of the n-word or antisemitism (some are even making kkk and other disgusting jokes) and it just shows how much people love to use struggles of minorities as a weapon.
Also, the irony is that Dream always has to address when someone with his picture says something horrible and the whole fandom is called toxic (because of a few people) but constantly trying to cancel someone, spread lies, and publicly write how happy you are to bully mcyt stans (which, btw, they all call 12 year olds) is not toxic?
I feel so sad and angry for Dream. Why is it a trend to accuse that man of literally anything? I have never seen someone address as much shit as he did, with majority beeing either false, stupid or had nothing to do with him.
Him and George have been friends for years and you can see how comfortable they are around each other. And the fact that they used their friendship to shift the stream from kaceys slurs is fucked up.
They are real fucking people, they aren’t fictional characters who are advertise for queer people, but still straight.
I can assure you that people don’t watch them because “they are queerbaiting”, people watch them because their streams feel like a safe place for everyone.
